Francesco Maiorano

Francesco Maiorano is Software Developer at the Genomic, Transcriptomic and Proteomic Laboratory, Institute for High-Performance Computing and Networking, National Research Council of Italy (ICAR-CNR). He graduated in Computer Science at the University of Naples “Parthenope”. His thesis was focused on the development of web and mobile applications with AR (Augmented Reality) support. He was visiting scholar at the University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory, US in 2010. During his work at ICAR-CNR, he developed MetaboX, a tool to programmatically build metabolic networks. He is now student for a master’s degree in Applied Computer Science at University of Naples “Parthenope”.
